Quite possibly the most dangerous photo I have taken. The train was moving in excess of 50 mph and I was about three feet from the rails. This was shot with a 50mm lens so the train really is that close.

Located in the wide open spaces of central Oregon, I like the way the vertical elements of the crossbuck and telephone poles contrast with the linear element of the train. The texture of the clouds draws attention to the vanishing point where the track curves.
